The ladies have something of an advantage in this area. Note that for men, this may or may not include your top — if you plan to simply wear a workout shirt for the latter two events, there is no way you want to. For the underground river you also need to wear a helmet and watershoes (they also provide those).
Probably a rash shirt (swimming top) cause i tend to get rashes on my nipples and underarms!
I've only worn a wetsuit once so i cannot speak with much experience, but when i did i was nude under it. You can swim in them with or without a wetsuit and go straight. I like to wear what i like, not what the magazines tell us to wear. You can also wear rashguards under wetsuits to protect you from chafing, and they add a bit of warmth to any suit.
